Privacy Policy
Last updated : June 13, 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal data Cliptocash collects, why, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This document is a template provided for guidance only. It must be reviewed and adapted by a lawyer before going into production.
1. Data controller & contact
The controller of your data is the company that operates Cliptocash. For any question about your personal data or to exercise your rights, you can write to privacy@cliptocash.com. We are committed to responding promptly and in accordance with applicable regulations.
2. Data we collect
We collect your account data (email, first name, username), your preferred language, and the links to your TikTok and Instagram profiles. For payments, your IBAN is handled directly and exclusively by Stripe: it is never stored on our servers; if you choose PayPal, we only keep the associated email. Finally, we collect the views tracked on your videos taking part in campaigns.
3. Purposes & legal basis
Your data is used to manage your account, link your videos to campaigns, measure views and pay your earnings. Processing is based on the performance of the contract between us (these terms), on compliance with our legal obligations (notably accounting and tax), and, where relevant, on your consent for certain communications. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Subprocessors & sharing
We rely on subprocessors to deliver the service: Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Stripe (payments and IBAN processing), Resend (sending transactional emails) and ScrapeCreators (tracking public views on the platforms). These providers only access the data needed for their task and are bound by confidentiality obligations. We never sell your personal data.
5. Retention period
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After your account is closed, some data may be retained for the period required by our legal obligations (for example, payment records for accounting and tax purposes). Beyond these periods, your data is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your GDPR rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and object to the processing of your data. You may also request the restriction of a processing operation. To exercise these rights, write to us at privacy@cliptocash.com; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies
Cliptocash uses cookies strictly necessary for the service to work, in particular to keep your session and remember your preferred language. We may use analytics cookies to improve the platform, subject to your consent where required by law. You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies, which may affect some features.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect legal or technical changes. In the event of a significant change, we will inform you by an appropriate means. The last updated date shown at the top of this page always reflects the version in force.
